With more than 30 years of experience in offshore wind development, Denmark has a unique position to support the development of offshore wind in India. Sharing Danish experiences and expertise with emerging offshore wind nation as India can help contribute to the development of new offshore wind markets and accelerate the global green transition. Based on this, the virtual offshore wind platform have been created to allow this sharing of offshore wind experience to become digitalized and available to a broader audience.

Of course, the virtual tour cannot be compared with a physical tour, but the experience and understanding can take place on the visitor’s terms, independent of time zones, resources etc. It is the closest we get to an almost real life experience and the platform is an important tool to inspire for an urgent global green transition based on offshore wind”, said Shri Kristoffer Böttzauw, Director-General of the Danish Energy Agency
